Shannon is a singer whose official YouTube channel, Shannon fwi, tags its releases with #shatta. An article on the Martinican shatta movement from Richès Karayib says Shannon and Kryssy marked a milestone with tracks that circulated widely and put shatta in front of the public. Shannon's Deezer catalogue runs from 2016 singles such as "Bruk it" and "Do da bunx" through "Mal à Dit", "Shiki" and "Shake Up" in 2018 and "BEST" and "Zatrap" in 2019. Kryssy's Qobuz biography mentions a short EP the two singers made together in 2021, and the single "Queens" from that year carries both names. Later highlights include "Bad Shatta" with Natoxie and "Take Off" with Elji in 2023, "Capitaine" with Dj Leska and the album 777 in 2025, and the 2026 album TROPICAL MOOD.
