Behind the music

The story so far.

Politik Naï is a dancehall artist with releases going back more than a decade. "Tou ni" was published in 2011 by Tropikprod Martinique as a dancehall clip, and the same year he joined Lieutenant and Elji on "Gaza Gyal", released through PSK Music. His Deezer discography starts with "Brinnin Cow (Holliday 2)" and "Immortel" in 2012 and continues with "Que tu m'aimes" in 2014, "Nou ka fouté panik" in 2015 and "El Duro" on the DJ Dan Riddim in 2016. "Gauch Dwèt'", a 2017 clip on his own channel, credits Dj Ronstyl. In 2024 he released "POPO VIRÉ", "jaloux" and "Dis moi oui", then "Jah Is" and "Tournevis" in 2025. A feature on shatta by the Belgian broadcaster RTBF lists Politik Naï, with Ti Blica and Vlg Rocki, as examples of conscious shatta, which it describes as lyrics engaged with living conditions, unemployment and discrimination.
