Qpid, also written Q-Pid, is a Saint Lucian soca artiste and calypsonian whose recordings stretch back to Water, posted as Lucian soca from 2006. I Do followed in 2010. In 2013 Qpid featured on Ambi's Ramen, from the Ramen Riddim. The Voice reported in 2015 that Qpid was the only calypsonian to reach all three major finals that year, the Groovy Soca, Power Soca and Calypso Monarch. In 2018 Stratosphere Muzic included the Qpid song Baddest Jiggle on the Jiggy Riddim, alongside Ricky T, Skinny Fabulous, Lavaman and Shurwayne Winchester. Sugar Water came out as a 2019 single. Qpid returned to the Groovy Soca Monarch final in 2022 with One In A Million, the year Ricky T won and Ti Blacks finished first runner-up. In 2025 Qpid and Ricky T took the duet Run into the Power Soca Monarch final, one of several pairings in that year's line-up.
