Maddzart is the stage name of Raeon Primus, a Vincentian entertainer who has competed in soca and calypso at Vincy Mas for more than two decades. Searchlight described him in 2005 as lead vocalist for the local band HS Phaktor and reported that he had remade his hit "Poor People Song" with Trinidadian soca star Bunji Garlin while his album The Madd Symphony was due for release. He placed third in the 2004 Soca Monarch with "Road Soldiers." In 2009 he won the vacant Ragga Soca crown with "Is Me Friend" at Victoria Park, a title he had first taken in 2001. iWitness News reported in July 2024 that his double entendre "Contours" took the National Calypso Monarch crown from Fya Empress, which made him a winner of all four major Vincymas singing contests: Power Soca, Ragga Soca, Calypso Monarch and Road March. "The King Road" was released as 2010 soca, and "Liff Me Up" arrived as Vincy power soca in 2026.
