Islah Man is the stage name of Neil Gittens, a power soca performer whom The Voice called the Fire City Champion. Before 2016 he had twice finished first runner-up in the Saint Lucia and Caribbean Soca Monarch competitions. After a five-year break he returned for Carnival 2016, performing Party Mash Up, Neighbourhood, Rocktion and Maad Maad at Cooler Fete and the official carnival launch. Maad Maad was produced by Studio No Xcitement and co-written with Aimran Simmons, and it carried him to the 2016 Power Soca Monarch crown, with the official Lucian Carnival channel posting his winning performance. That year he also toured the United States with Road March King Mac 11, playing shows in New York and Connecticut. Earlier work includes Saliazon on the Kabawe Riddim in 2014. In 2022 he came back with the power soca single We Outside, again produced by Aimran "Pan Man" Simmons of Studio No Xcitement.
