Behind the music

The story so far.

Dejour is a soca singer from St. Kitts and Nevis. His early carnival entries include "Don't Care" on the Tribal Soca Riddim for Sugar Mas 45 in 2016 and "Soca Rebel" on the Tuk Tuk Riddim, which his own channel posted for the 2017 and 2018 season and Sugar Mas 46. The same channel holds a clip of him at the Lime Bar Nevis Soca Tent during Sugar Mas 44. He performed at the St. Kitts Music Festival in 2016, and in 2019 he released "Wata," labelled as Soca and Afrobeat from Saint Kitts. Dejour sings with Rucas H.E on Grand Masters Band releases, including "Outside Again" for Wilders 2023 and "Happy" for Soca 2024. The Department of Creative Economy released "Together," a Soca 2024 creatives anthem by Rucas H.E, Dejour and Nicha B. Live footage from 2020 also shows him sharing a stage with Imark, backed by The ABC Band, at an event called The Vaccine.
