King Rumer, born Rumari Rogers and also credited as Rummer, is a soca singer tied to St. Maarten Carnival. In April 2017 The Daily Herald reported that he had become the first singer in the carnival's history to win the Senior Road March Competition three years in a row, performing his hit "G-String" and receiving the crown from St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation president Alston Lourens. Uncle Brasi of TG Band placed second that year and Boogie G Suave of Xplosion Band third. A 2019 Daily Herald carnival guide listed him again among the Road March challengers. His Deezer catalog, filed under Rummer HD, includes "G String" and "Dance Like Maggie" with King Kembe and Young One, both on Ruff Kross Records in 2017, plus "OTW (On the Way)" with Rucas H.E. in 2020. Later releases "It's Yours" and "We Alone (NWA)" were posted in 2025 as St. Maarten soca.
