Rudy, who releases music as Rudy Live, is a soca singer described by LargeUp in 2014 as a Virgin Islands soca diva. That article listed stage credits in Toronto at Caribana, in Antigua at Party Monarch and in Trinidad at Groovy Monarch, noted songs with Machel Montano and Shurwayne Winchester, and was promoting her new single "Heat Wave". In March 2024 the USVI Department of Tourism named Rudy Live among the performers representing the territory at the St. Thomas Carnival Village. Her Deezer catalog, released through Julianspromos Worldwide, begins with the 2009 album It's Rudy: Soca Edition, which includes "Hard Drive" and "Vi Carnival". The 2014 album Heat Wave carries the title track, "R.U.D.E.", "Trespassing" and "Show Dem" featuring Shurwayne Winchester, and the audio uploads on her channel label these as 2014 soca. "Heat Wave" was also issued on the Dial Up Riddim. Later projects include It's Rudy: Socanomics and the Demolish EP, followed by singles such as "Grey Sweat Pants", "Lock & Load", "Finally" and "Slow Bram" in 2026.
