Behind the music
The story so far.
King Vers is a soca singer from St. Maarten. The Daily Herald billed him as "King Vers from St. Maarten" on the September 2018 Soak'A Fete concert alongside Grand Masters from St. Kitts, and its 2019 carnival guide listed a special performance by the 2017/18 Soca Rumble Power Monarch, King Vers, at the Caribbean Flag Fest. His 2015 releases "Get On Bad" and a remix of "Rude" were posted as Saint Maarten soca, and a video of his "Gettin On Bad" Soca Rumble performance is on his own channel. "Soca Army" followed with an official music video in 2019. On Deezer his singles include "Everybody (Bounce)" on StoneHouse Records in 2018 and "Horna Corna" on Oualichi Records in 2020, with a steady run of new singles through 2025 and 2026 such as "Road" and "Guavaberry in My Cup".
