Trendsetter is a calypsonian who publishes his calypso competition entries on his own YouTube channel, Trendsetter DA. His song "Demonikans" was posted as a 2018 Dominica Calypso entry. In 2025 he competed with "De Pee Pee". Soca News reported that he was left out of that year's nine-act final even though the song had been well received, and that the decision sparked debate among calypso fans, many of whom called it a significant oversight after what they saw as a flawless performance. He had reached the semi-finals, where the published list of twenty acts included him alongside several former monarchs. He returned for the 2026 season with "Lavéyé". Other songs on his channel include "Volleh", "Readymade Jacket" and "Figures", all labelled as Dominica Calypso entries.
