Behind the music
The story so far.
Tony Cuttz, also written Tony Cutts, is a chutney soca singer from Guyana. The Trinidad Guardian reported that Rick Ram brought him on stage, alongside Vicadi Singh and Master Salimi Beharry, during the set that won the 2024 Chutney Soca Monarch, with Rick calling them his brothers from Guyana. His solo single Leh We Go, released as a 2021 chutney soca, was posted by the West Indian Chutney Music channel. He has built much of his catalogue through duets: Gone with Zachary de Lima, labelled groovy chutney, in 2021; If You Go and Again with Chavez in 2022; and Neva Hold Me Down with Aamir Khan. His Deezer page lists a steady flow of singles, among them One Guyana in early 2024, Neva Hold Me Down that June, Bottles and Bad Talk in 2025, and The Rum Neva Done in 2026. That last song also has an official video on the same channel.
