Jumo "Rubber Waist" Primo is a Guyanese soca artiste and one of the most decorated names in the Mashramani Soca Monarch. A 2019 Department of Public Information report described him as a three time Carib Soca Monarch when he entered with "Tribute", a song saluting soca and its contributors. In 2020 he took the 592 Soca Monarch from Brandon Harding with "Trample Dem", entering the stage in a wheelchair in a performance drawn from his own leg injury. HGPTV reported that he placed fourth in 2021 and then reclaimed the crown in 2022 with "Living My Life", scoring 259 points at the National Stadium in Providence. With Adrian Dutchin he also formed the duo X2, whose "Tick Tock" appeared on the Sarsparilla Riddim in 2007. Guyana Times covered his return to the competition in 2026 after five years away, with the new song "Barricade". Earlier releases such as "March Out" and "Jiggle" show his range of road and party material.
