Rawytee Ramroop, also spelled Rawythee, won the Queen of Chutney Soca title at the 2024 Chutney Soca Monarch with Whining Down To the Ground. The Trinidad Guardian reported that the song also placed third overall with 350 points, behind Rick Ram and Daddy Chinee, and that the queen title carried a $100,000 prize. After the result she spoke of representing chutney soca music in Trinidad and Tobago and around the world. Pari Karo, posted on the Chutney Soca Music channel and labelled a chutney song, is one of her best known recordings. She has worked with several peers: Baba Na Aawe Jai with Vanessa Ramoutar in 2024, Dhobia Mar Jaye with Sadhana Lila, and My Heart Is Beating with Vanita Willie as a Bollywood remix. Kal Katawa and the visualizer for Doonoo Jane Na are among her more recent chutney soca releases on West Indian Chutney Music.
