Raquel John, also written Racquel John, is a chutney soca singer who reached the final of the 2022 Chutney Soca Monarch. TTT named her among 14 finalists that February, and Southex, the competition's organiser, posted her semi final performance of Plenty Iron from the 27th edition of the event. Plenty Iron, recorded with Hunter, was billed as the reply to Kenneth Salick's She Want Ah 4x4 Van, and it was released as a 2022 chutney soca with an official video. She has kept recording duets since then, including Chutney Jab Jab with Russell M and Chunkay Meh Dhal with Sunil Ramsundar, both released as 2026 chutney soca tracks through West Indian Chutney Music.
