Shanice is a calypsonian who posts her competition songs on a YouTube channel under the name Shanice Tisa. She has climbed quickly in Dominica's Calypso Monarch competition. Soca News lists her in third place at the 2024 final, organised by the Dominica Calypso Association at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium Forecourt, behind King Dice and Trilla-G and ahead of Joy. In 2025 she reached the final again, one of four women in it, and Antigua News reports that she came third as second runner-up, behind Joy and King Dice. Her songs often take on public issues. Her 2023 entry "Woulé Chaple'w" is posted there, her 2024 pair was "A Fight For Justice" and "In The Spotlight", and her 2025 entry "Experts" is also on her channel.
