Shamak Duncan, who records as Shamak, reached the Power Soca, Groovy Soca and Calypso Monarch finals in the same Spicemas season in 2025. The 2025 results published by NOW Grenada list him tenth in the Power Soca Monarch with "Warrior", tied for ninth in the Groovy Soca Monarch with "Love At First Sight", and eighth in the Calypso Monarch. A year earlier, spelled Shamack in the results, he finished twelfth in Power Soca and tied for tenth in Groovy. His own channel, Shamak Muziq Official, carries "Warrior" and "First Time" as Grenada Soca 2025 releases, along with the calypso "That Is Calypso" for 2026. That 2025 calypso final was won by Scholar, with Rootsman Kelly second, and Shamak's eighth place came in a field of eleven. He also tied with Sheldon Douglas for ninth in that year's Groovy final, and his calypso and soca uploads sit side by side on the same channel.
