Sakinah Ambrose, who performs as Sakinah, is a singer already known to Spicemas audiences as an energetic performer with the ALPHA1 band. She entered Grenada's Groovy Soca Monarch for the first time in 2025 and finished second with "I Got Me", built on Alix "Sandman" Aird's One Eights Riddim, scoring 268 points behind Mr Gold'N. NOW Grenada described her entrance on a palanquin carried by four men, with her dancers dressed as royalty in front of a Roman inspired backdrop. Speaking afterwards, she said the artists who take part in the competition each year deserve more respect. She returned to the Groovy final in 2026 and placed tenth in a contest won by Sabrina Francis. Her 2026 releases include "Celebrate" with Benji Beatz, which has a music video on her channel, and she features on "Carnival Tabanka" by Luni Spark & Electrify. "I Got Me" was shared by JulianspromosTV under a Grenada Soca 2025 heading.
