Rashid "Crayve" Julien, whose name also appears as Cryave on releases, is a soca singer from Coast Guard in St Mark. He made his Groovy Soca Monarch debut in 2019 with "Genie Lover" and finished joint fourth with Luni Spark & Electrify. On his second attempt, in 2022, he won the Groovy crown with "Unbothered", scoring 273 points at the age of 25, ahead of Mr Walkie and Luni Spark & Electrify. He told NOW Grenada that he wrote "Unbothered" alongside "Genie Lover" in 2019, completed it in 2021 and had already written a second part. Former champions Dash and V'ghn sat out that year amid a boycott over prize money, and Crayve said he would have liked to see how he measured up against them. In 2024 he entered the Power Soca Monarch and tied for seventh with Hitz. Both of his monarch songs are available on the Greenzking Promoz channel, tagged Soca 2019 and Soca 2022.
