V'ghn, born Jevaughn John, is a soca singer, songwriter and producer from Grenada. A WIPO Magazine profile says he spent his childhood afternoons dancing with the Spices Dance Company in Gouyave and started making music at 11 as part of a soca duo. At 16, in 2013, he was recognized as a solo act at Grenada's National Soca Monarch competition. He later won the Groovy category of the International Soca Monarch in Trinidad and Tobago with Trouble in the Morning, the first Grenadian to place in its top three. Grenada named him a cultural ambassador in 2019, and in April 2025 WIPO made him its IP Youth Ambassador for Grenada. The profile lists songwriting work with Nadia Batson, Blaxx, Skinny Fabulous and Konshens. Recent bouyon work includes the Take Me As I Am remix with Trilla-G and Eye Spy with DJ Kalli and Klassik Frescobar.
