Jalon "Boyzie" Olive is a soca artist from Sauteurs in St Patrick and one of the most decorated performers in Grenada's Spicemas competitions. NOW Grenada reported that his first Soca Monarch crown came in 2013, with further wins in 2015, 2016 and 2017, the last for "D Intention", which he finished singing from a hoisted crane. Lil Natty & Thunda beat him in 2018, but he reclaimed the Power Soca title in 2019 with "The Return", his fifth. He then turned to the Groovy Soca Monarch and won it in 2023 and 2024, the second time with "Home Sweet Home", a tribute to Grenada's 50th anniversary of independence. In 2025 he chose not to defend either crown and concentrated on releases such as "Last Man", "Talawa" and "Raw Dawg". He came back in 2026 and finished second in the Groovy final. His own channel carries "Season Open" and "Middle Finger".
