Ricky T is the stage name of Ricky Joseph, a soca artiste from Saint Lucia. His 2007 song Pressure Boom took him from Saint Lucian stages into the Trinidad Soca Monarch finals, and later onto a Madison Square Garden bill in New York beside Machel Montano. A Miami Carnival profile counted 15 titles for him at that point, spread across Road March, Power Soca Monarch, Caribbean Soca Monarch and Groovy Soca Monarch. In 2022 he won the Groovy Soca Monarch, taking the crown from Sly. In July 2024 he took the Power Soca Monarch with Look Something To Talk About, a night The Voice used to call him the undisputed king of the Power Soca stage. He also placed in the Groovy final with It's Not Your Turn and joined Bronxx and Matta on Better Than Them. The Voice notes his nickname, The Teasel. His catalog also includes Freaky Girls with Eempey Slicker, Sully, Sweet St. Lucia and Deep, a 2026 single with Skinny Fabulous.
