OKC, also billed as O.K.C The Artiste, is Osei Clarke, a young Guyanese singer who competes across the Mashramani soca, calypso and chutney categories. HGPTV reported that he won the 2022 Junior Soca Monarch at the National Stadium and, in the same week, placed second in the Junior Calypso contest. A follow up piece gave his age then as 20 and said he planned to move into the senior category. He did so in 2023, placing third in the Soca Monarch with "Woman", a song against gender based violence, and taking the Best Newcomer prize, according to HGPTV. His own YouTube channel posts his 2022 junior winner "We Year", the audio for "Brawling" and a 2023 Chutney Soca Monarch performance of "Leave Me Alone". A News Room Guyana video names him the new Calypso Monarch with the song "Promised Land", and News Room has called him a prince of Guyanese soca after his CARIFESTA XV set. Kross Kolor Records released his calypsos "BFF" and "Guyanese".
