Brandon Harding is a soca singer from Linden, Guyana, who won the national Soca Monarch in 2018 and 2019. A Department of Public Information report from early 2019 named him the reigning Carib Soca Monarch, said he had won the previous year with "Alive" and was defending the title with "Alone", a song about self confidence. News Source Guyana then reported his back to back win at the National Park, where he edged Stephen Ramphal by one point. The paper described a performance on a throne at centre stage, backed by dancers and props from his hometown, and lines in the song that teased other contestants, including Jumo Primo. In 2020 Jumo Primo took the crown from him, and News Source listed Harding, then a two time monarch, outside the top four. His YouTube releases carry Guyana Soca tags, among them "Alive", "Alone", "Honey" and "Watching Yuh", and he appears with Big Sea on "Blessings" from the Abri Riddim.
