Luta is the stage name of Rondy McIntosh, a Vincentian soca artiste who says he comes from humble beginnings in Calliaqua. iWitness News reported that he finished at St. Martin's Secondary School in 1988, worked as a barber, and joined the band Signal in 1994 before later managing it. He was named Entertainer of the Year three times. Known for "Tight Spot," he released the ragga soca song "Inside Dey" for Vincy Mas 2016. After he began performing parang soca in 2012, he won that title repeatedly, including every year from 2016 to 2021. In 2019 "Leh Go Ting" won the Road March by a single point over Magikal, and he became the first artiste to take the Road March and parang titles in the same year. In 2022 he was appointed Consul General of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in New York. His catalog also includes "Throw Bad Mind," "Charlie Charlie" and "Till Morning."
