Behind the music

The story so far.

Lil Bitts, sometimes written Lil' Bitts, is the stage name of Shivonne Churche, a soca musician from Trinidad and Tobago. Her recorded catalogue starts in 2002 with Spin Yuh Towel and Groove Mih, and it grew through songs such as Bump (2005), Hold Meh (2009) and Careful. Crush, her duet with Sean Caruth, and Dis Year with Olatunji Yearwood in 2009 are among her collaborations, along with In My Country alongside Bunji Garlin. In the International Soca Monarch she was a semi finalist in 2011 and 2012 and reached the Power Soca final in 2013. Away from the stage she helped launch the Making Music to Benefit Charities Foundation in 2009 and set up Go 4wd Entertainment in 2010 to develop and book newer artistes. She began in radio at 17 and works at Boom94. Recent releases include Wettah, made with DJ Ky and M1, and Brighter Days, produced by Gaffa Productions.
