Delroy "Fireman" Hooper is a power soca singer from St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the most decorated name in that country's Soca Monarch contest. Searchlight reported in July 2023 that his song "Madness" earned him a 12th power soca crown at the national Soca Monarch, with Kahm "Fligh" Haynes second and Kemmy Christopher third. The paper added that Ragga Soca and Road March titles were already on his record. iWitness News recorded an especially big 2014 season, when "Unruly" won both the Soca Monarch and the Road March while "Rum Meeting" took the Ragga Soca title and placed second on the road. In 2016 he finished third in the Power Soca final with "Homeless," and the report counted him as an eight time winner at that point. His catalog also includes "Wild" from the Zaboca Riddim, released as 2017 soca. Start with "Madness" and "Unruly" for his carnival road sound.
