Educator is Protus Auguste, a calypsonian with three Calypso Monarch titles to his name, according to The Voice's 2016 survey of past kings. In 2017 the paper gave him a photo feature filed under its Ambassadors Calypso Tent coverage. He has long crossed between kaiso and soca. In 2015 he reached both the Power Soca Monarch and Calypso Monarch finals. He returned to the calypso final in 2024 with Youth Economy and Vaccine For Crime, and in 2025, representing the Fire One tent, he finished third runner-up with Drunk Cars and Great Again, scoring 742 points. His recorded work ranges from Little Sheila, posted by a classics archive channel, to tent performances filmed by Calabash TV such as Deglos, Gwan Moun and Calypso Tyson, the last billed under the name King Educator.
