Behind the music

The story so far.

Aknose is a singer from Guadeloupe whose work leans on bouyon, according to his Qobuz artist biography. Much of his reach has come through collaborations. "Moustik", a track built on a 1T1 beat and written by Aknose, got an official video in February 2024 through MBI Family. In 2024 he also released "Kak Up" with Gwada G and "Minimum", a video Qobuz credits to director Griffit Vision, and teamed with YSN on "Manawa". The pair followed it in January 2025 with "Palabras", a dembow-flavoured song. June 2025 brought "Coulie Coulie" with Kima, composed by Magistral Beats and produced by MBI Family, whose video passed 1.9 million views. He and Kima reunited on "Close Your Mouth" in November 2025. More recent releases include "Bonne Humeur" and "Conakry" in 2025, and in 2026 "Pink Pink" with DJ Steri and Bigg Frankii on Wagram Music. Qobuz also notes his track with Larose, "Lè an pa siw ou si mwen".
