Triple Kay member Wayne Benjamin, also recording bouyon and soca solo.
Behind the music
The story so far.
Mr. Benji, also billed as Benji or Mr Benji N2O, is Wayne Benjamin, a member of the Triple Kay band. He is one of the three performers credited on Triple Kay's "Money Relief", a 2018 bouyon release which he co-wrote, recorded at Imperial Publishing Studios. Alongside the band he has a steady run of solo work and features. For the 2016 carnival season he recorded "Same Girl" with Shelly. In 2019 he co-wrote and sang on MarzVille's "Stush" on the UnRuly Riddim, whose release notes call him the breakout lead singer of The Triple Kay Band, and released "Bouyon 2 D World" on the DeBouyon Riddim. His 2023 soca single "Mine" was written and performed by him on the Glu Glu Riddim, which he also produced, with mixing by Kendel Laurent at Music Box Studios. In 2024 he joined Claudette Peters on "Play De Bouyon", produced by Brukway Production. In 2026 he featured on DJ Taffy's bouyon track "Roll".
