Behind the music

The story so far.

Arèndi, also written Arendi, is a bouyon singer, as RCI described him in 2024 when reporting on Holly G's BET Awards nomination. He was already releasing bouyon in 2013, when "Pété Tête Aw" and "Béséw Montéw" were uploaded with the genre in their titles. In 2020 he released "Rété Akaz Aw", written by Arèndi and composed by Boutcha Bwa Production, and its video has passed 1.8 million views. His widest exposure came in October 2021 with "Je l'ai vu", a song with Holly G and VJ Ben, composed by Dj Flip tha boss and recorded at Voodoo Studio. Its official video on his channel has passed 15 million views, and a version also appeared on the Bouyon Kings mixtape. Earlier that year he and Magma QLM released "Shatta Ay", composed by Trapking Beats with piano by YG Gucci and filmed in Guadeloupe. In February 2026 he joined YSN and 6tresses on "Mielleux", released by Hakuna Music Company.
