Behind the music
The story so far.
Miguel Maestre is a soca singer whose releases stretch back to the late 2010s. His YouTube channel carries She Wining as a 2017 soca release and Na Na Ey labelled Soca 2018, and his Deezer catalogue follows with Solo in 2018 and Breakaway in 2020. During the pandemic years he put out Carnival I Miss You and Fete Ete in 2021, then Sweet Music and Fan in 2022. That same summer he released Toronto through One Love Nation, a song named for the city and tagged 2022 Soca. Later singles include Rum and Bacchanal and The Wedding Song in 2023, Feters in 2024 and Show Off in 2025. He has worked with This Is Kash on Hornin, which also appeared as a Soca Chutney Remix, and on Horn Back. He also features on Always by Skorch Bun It alongside Dr Jay de Soca Prince, and he sings State Of Emergency on the Daiza Riddim.
