Ann G is a singer from Japan whose background covers R&B, dancehall and Afrobeats alongside a deep attachment to Caribbean music, as Soca News put it in 2023. The same report records that she reached the final of the International Soca Monarch in 2014. In October 2023 she appeared on the Soca Magic Riddim project with AYAKOhime, Micky Rich and DJ Daiky, singing tracks that include Soca Magic, Beautiful World and Colourful. A month later she released Paint the Road with UK Groovy Soca Monarch Leah Sophia and Dutch artist Kulchaman, a song paying tribute to Trinidad and Tobago carnival and mas. In 2024 she was credited on Oideyo with DJ Private Ryan, Lyrikal and Jus Now, released through Monk Music and Battalion Music. She followed it with Wasabi Wine alongside Aaayah in 2025 and a road mix of the same song in 2026.
