St David soca duo and 2018 Power Soca Monarchs.
Behind the music
The story so far.
Lil Natty & Thunda are Dingaan "Lil Natty" Henry and Nyelon "Thunda" Williams, a soca duo from St David, Grenada. In a 2016 statement Lavaman congratulated them on winning that year's Road March. In 2017 they opened the Soca Monarch with "Top Strikers" and finished second, seven points behind Boyzie. A year later their song "Get in your section" earned 267 points and dethroned Boyzie, bringing the duo its first crown. After competing at the 2019 International Soca Monarch in Trinidad, both men were named cultural ambassadors by the Government of Grenada and given official passports. In 2026 Spicemas Corporation recognised them again after they represented Grenada at Trinidad Carnival. A "Top Striker" remix featuring Machel Montano is on Machel Montano's channel, tagged Soca 2018. Their 2017 releases included "Dash It" and "The Foreigner", and they returned with "Headache" on the Pain Killer Riddim for 2026.
