Behind the music
The story so far.
Umpa is a Saint Lucian artist associated with soca and the Dennery Segment style. Baguy, on the Dynamite Riddim by G6 Prod, was released as 2019 Lucian Dennery Soca. Riches Karayib also credits him with One Drop in 2019 and Plat in 2021. In 2024 he joined Mr Ridge and Dova on No Reply, produced by Cross D Bridge Studio and filed under bouyon on that upload. Pain Killer with Mikado, written by Brendon Charlery for Jammin' Entertainment's Tiki Twaka Riddim, arrived for the 2025 Dennery Segment season. In August 2026 he shared Chaleur with Teamfoxx on the By A Bar Riddim, produced by Lashley Motto Winter. His Deezer page shows a steady run of riddim singles, including Plishay, Woolay and Mouyè. Riches Karayib named him among ten Caribbean artists to watch in 2025.
