Sizwe C is the stage name of Sizwe Jason Collins, a soca singer from Montreal, Canada, with Trinidadian and Haitian roots who now lives in Miami, Florida. His performer biography says he set his sights on soca at about six years old, and recalls seeing Machel Montano at Dimanche Gras in 1986. Early on he was the soca act in the reggae group Crucial and part of the Miami outfit Soca Bashment with Dr. Esan. His solo career began with Rock Yah Boat in 2007, and in 2008 he was nominated for Best New Artist at the International Soca Awards. Other songs include Wine on You, Hush N Wine and Turn It Up, plus Hundred and Side Man on the Feel Good Riddim for 2025 and Dutty for 2026. The Trinidad Guardian listed him on a 2024 Miami Carnival concert bill as a Miami based Trini and Haitian singer.
