Shelly G is a Guyanese soca singer whom HGPTV called the Socadisiac queen of Guyanese soca in a 2022 report. Socadisiac is also the name of her 2010 album on Apple Music, which includes Swing It and High, both featuring Fojo, along with Iron, Fishy Fishy, Wine Up and Wuk Meh Rite. Her catalogue there also covers the 2011 release Just a Text and the album Conflict, which carries Mr Right, Bye Bye and a 2010 remix of Your Love with Jah Cure. She appears on the chutney compilation Chutney with Bholo Bholo, recorded with Fojo and Fiona Singh, and on Iron (Remix) with Hitman. A later compilation, Best of Shelly G Soca, gathers tracks such as Tired and Let Me Loose. HGPTV reported that at a Guyana Association of Georgia family fun day at the Lithonia Amphitheater she performed Swing It, Guyana and Party Animal while waving the Golden Arrowhead flag.
