Behind the music
The story so far.
Shanika is a singer whose official channel labels several of her releases as bouyon. Her best known song is Kay ve yo from 2023. The track was produced by DJ Taffy on his Funny Riddim and released with Voodoo Studio, and its clip has passed 3.9 million views. Knock Knock, with Miimii and Mikado, has also topped two million; Mikado composed it and Mighty Production directed the video. On Deezer her catalog includes the singles Okeii, Chocolate and Hot Gal. La La La was released as a bouyon lyric video in 2024, produced by YG Gucci. In late 2025 she joined Safo on Push and Go, built on the Bouyon Bad Riddim by Punz. In 2026 she released Gwadloup on the Black Glory Riddim Volume II, a song made with ND production and Voodoo Studio and distributed by UpFull Music. Shanika is also credited with the artistic direction of that video.
