Sukie, who also performs as Sukie Burn Brain, is a bouyon singer. Songwriting credits on the 2022 single iCandy identify him as Shane Edwards. That track paired him with KT Dan and Tobap over a production by Ras Stickle, with mixing and mastering by Icebox Studios, and it has drawn more than 130,000 views. Toxic Love, credited to Sukie and Crew, circulated as bouyon music in 2022 through a promotional upload on another channel. His biggest audience came for a track on the Nasty Business Riddim posted by More Sewo, which has more than 900,000 views. Cross D Bridge handled production on that song, with Arturo Bellot listed as composer and Nikita Christmas on drums. In a 2026 interview on Sully Jacob's channel, he spoke about bouyon versus soca and his part in bringing bouyon back, telling the story of his own come up in the music.
