Orlando Octave is a seasoned soca artist with a long run in Trinidad Carnival competitions. He was among the 33 semi finalists for the 2017 Chutney Soca Monarch, and in February 2018 he sang Love You So as one of the eleven finalists challenging Voice for the International Soca Monarch. In February 2025 he returned to a major final, placing among the ten Ultimate Soca Champion finalists with Auction. His releases shared on the JulianspromosTV soca channel include Church Gyal and Berlin for the 2018 season and Beauty for 2019, along with Single and Ride Out. Away from his own records he has worked with newer artists: in 2023 the Trinidadian singer Phia released My Side with him, a dancehall and Afrobeats love song that came together at Pengco Studio. Phia credited him for his dedication to the project and the guidance he offered while they worked on it.
