DJ Private Ryan is a soca DJ and producer who releases music through Battalion Music. He puts out recurring mix series under his own name. The 2026 edition of Soca Starter carried the subtitle Lost in Trinbago, while a second series, Soca Brainwash, includes Welcome Home for 2023 and a 2026 instalment. He also records original songs with singers. On 3 December 2021 he and Terri Lyons released Can You Feel It, a single from his then forthcoming album World On Fire, produced by Battalion Music. Other releases include Soca Baby and Bubbling Champion with Jadel. For the 2026 season he appeared on two Machel Montano songs: the road mix of Elevate, with Nailah Blackman and BadJohn Republic, and Dancing In The Street, with Mela Caribe. Both Machel Montano songs were featured in the SocaNews Tunes On A Tuesday roundups during the 2026 Carnival season.
