Nayee

The story so far.

Nayee is a bouyon vocalist from Dominica whose real name, according to a 2013 Dominica news report, is Neijel Jno Baptiste. That report presented Nayee as the island's very own bouyon artist at a time of growing connections across the region. The recent catalogue runs through a string of carnival-season releases. For Carnival 2024 Alchemy Studios put out Gimmie Dat in December 2023 and High Hopes in January 2024, both official audio uploads labelled Bouyon 2024, and DjeasyPromos posted One Hundred with Redz under the same tag. The following year brought Tek It, a duet with Mr Gwada posted on the Likkle Man channel, and Back Attack with Di Hooligan and Likkle Man, each marked Bouyon 2025. Nayee is also one of the voices on Not Giving Up with Ridge and Skinny Fabulous, released in February 2025. A 2026 carnival clip shows Nayee performing on a bouyon truck in Roseau. Start with Gimmie Dat, then Not Giving Up.
