Behind the music

The story so far.

Grand Masters Band is a soca band from St. Kitts and Nevis. In May 2023 the government information service SKNIS placed it on the Sugar Mas Soca Review, the opening night of the 25th St. Kitts Music Festival, a night SKNIS described as a meeting of former and current Soca Monarch and road march title holders. A June 2023 release named the band, with Nu Vybes Band International, for the festival's first Festival Jump Off road jam in Basseterre. Its YouTube trail goes back to "Bus U Bubble," posted as Soca 2010. Deezer lists the albums From Under De Sea from 2013 and Big Up from 2016, the second on DanceBEAT Records with tracks such as "Woo Mean" and "Shake That." Recent releases lean on singers Rucas H.E and Dejour. "Outside Again" carried a Wilders 2023 tag, "Happy" came out as Soca 2024, and "Rock Steady (Big Ship)" with Rucas H.E was released for Wilders 2026.
