The story so far.
Chow Minister, also written Chowminister, is the stage name of Kendel Burke. He finished second in the soca category of St. Vincent and the Grenadines' first virtual Soca Monarch in July 2020, held after Vincy Mas was cancelled because of the pandemic, with "Sugar Daddy." That song appears on the Alarm Kit Riddim as 2020 soca. In 2025 One News SVG listed him among the thirteen Soca Monarch finalists with "Cya Bowl Me." He is the featured voice on Suh Raw's "In The Water" on the Wetter Fete Riddim, released as Vincy soca for 2022 and 2023. His own channel carries "FarmVille" from 2017, "Sideman Season" from 2022 and "Drift" on the Dutty West Riddim as Vincy soca for 2023. For 2026 he released "De Gal Dem Name" on the Mas Class Riddim. Start with "Drift," then hear his verse on "In The Water."
