Behind the music

The story so far.

Blicassty, born Stéphane Blica, is a Martinican singer and songwriter whose Qobuz biography describes his style as a fusion of bouyon and zouk riddim. That biography traces his start to the dancehall scene of the early 2000s and notes that he built the Blica Family, a home for Martinican talent, together with his brother Ti Blica, who died in 2017. Look Lemon, released in December 2011 on Blica Family, is named among his notable songs alongside Ma Cocotte and Karma. His releases show a long run of collaborations, including Oublié and An Lanbo with Laa Ch'wiixy, Problème with Sodaade, and Twerk with Flavor Colectivo. Baissé Blessé, from 2020, was cut on the Clochawa riddim by Natoxie. Recent singles include Shakira and Good Body Gyal, both from 2026, the second credited with Mr. Vegas on Deezer. Most of his releases come out on his own Blica Family label.
