Totem and the Paris-Bercy concert
In a January 4, 2017 report, Booska-P said Admiral T planned to release a new album on April 15, the same day as his concert at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris (Bercy), and presented Love Don’t Crack, with Martinican artist Kalash, as a single from that project, in a video directed by Jima Kanor. On March 9, 2017, Reggae.fr reported that Admiral T had revealed the album’s cover and its title, Totem, noted that little was yet known about its content, and wrote that it would be sold exclusively at the Paris-Bercy show, where people who already held tickets would receive a copy on presenting them. Neither report describes the album’s tracks.

The title track opens this fourteen-track edition and Happy Birthday, with D.Camp, closes it. Four titles name guests: Game Over with Djanah, Love Don’t Crack with Kalash, Aba blabla with J-Perry and BIC, and Happy Birthday with D.Camp. The displayed artist on every track is Admiral T alone, so the guests appear only in the titles. The catalog separately holds four earlier one-track Admiral T single editions under album titles, each with its own track identifier: My Queen (2016-10-25), Game Over (feat. Djanah) (2016-10-28), Happy Birthday (feat. Dcamp) (2016-12-02) and Love Don’t Crack (feat. Kalash) (2017-01-01). J Perry’s Aba Blabla (feat. Admiral T, BIC & Gardy Girault) [Remix] single, dated 2016-07-12, is a separately credited remix. No recording equivalence is asserted. The April 15, 2017 edition date matches the concert date both reports give, but it remains a storefront date, not a verified first release.
