Young Vice is a soca vocalist from Antigua and Barbuda who performs with NewGen Band, the jam band whose YouTube channel carries much of his music. eTurboNews identified him as the 2024 Party Soca Monarch winner. Petra the Spectator, in a history of the Party Monarch contest, pointed to Young Vice and "Gravity Falls" as a sign of the jam band spirit returning to the competition. NewGen Band's official upload of "Gravity Falls" was labelled for Antigua Carnival 2024, and fan footage shows him singing it at the INET Party Monarch that year and at the D'Soca Avenue tent. For Antigua Carnival 2025 the band released "NewGen Statement", and "In Dey" came out as an official visualizer. In August 2025 he joined Tian Winter and DJ Quest on a UK tour that eTurboNews said included Notting Hill Carnival and an appearance on Seani B's BBC Radio 1Xtra show. He was back in the Jumpy semi finals in 2026.
