Tina Ly

The story so far.

Tina Ly grew up near Cayenne in French Guiana. In her 2015 FrekansZouk interview, she recalled performing a song written by her father on television at eight, then discovering studio work through her composer brother. She also described dance studies and a later move to Paris for accounting studies. Her career includes Zouk Box, which she dated to 2000, and collaborations with writers, producers and performers including Ali Angel and Carimi. She explained that a Couleurs du Monde collector edition used a DVD to document touring and clips. For Regarde-moi, she identified Méthi’s, Staniski, Ali Angel and DJ Fano in distinct writing and production roles. The catalog preserves those release and collaboration distinctions without treating a retrospective album count as today’s complete discography.
