Teddyson John

The story so far.

Teddyson John is a singer and musician from Castries, Saint Lucia. Export Saint Lucia’s artist profile traces his early music-making to church singing and choir leadership, followed by learning drums, percussion, bass guitar and keyboards. It dates his transition from gospel and R&B into soca to 2007. His performance history also includes the Men of Soul project at Saint Lucia Jazz in 2009. Allez, associated with his 2015 repertoire, helped bring him to Trinidad’s 2016 International Soca Monarch final. In the 2019 Groovy competition, he placed second with Vent. These two songs offer useful starting points: the selected Vent edition credits Teddyson John and Int’l Stephen, while Allez appears as a separate single. The catalog retains other titled mixes and compilation appearances without treating their dates as the songs’ original recording dates.
