Michele Henderson

The story so far.

Michele Henderson is a singer and songwriter from Dominica, also identified as Michele Henderson Delsol. Her musical training included the Kairi School of Music, where she learned flute and recorder and took leading roles in the choir. ECCO’s 2021 annual report also records her touring with the band Impact. Dominica’s festival organizer describes a career spanning Creole repertoire and performances at the World Creole Music Festival, Saint Lucia Jazz Festival, Roskilde and other international events. Its March 2022 profile identifies six solo albums at that point and her role as a Goodwill Ambassador for Dominica. Henderson composed Celebrating CARICOM, selected as the Caribbean Community’s official patriotic song. The institutional listening collection below provides a route into that regional commission.
