Kerry John is a singer whose catalog runs from reggae riddims to groovy soca. The earliest release on Apple Music is Trobble on the Flex Rhythm in 2011. The move toward soca shows in Drink King in 2017 and Bring It Back on the Bring It Back Riddim in 2018. Hush, on the Day Dream Riddim, was part of the 2020 Trinidad and Tobago carnival, and Kerry John reached the groovy soca final of the 2020 International Soca Monarch with Go Away. Many of these songs, including Hush, Drink King and Go Away, were gathered on the 2022 collection King John Version (My Story). Later singles include Hold Meh and Doh Fall Down in 2023, Money Man on the Big Bang Riddim and Alcohol with Zig Boi in 2024, and One Wine and Rosey in 2025. In 2026 Stick Up landed on the 333 Riddim, a set of three groove soca songs aimed at Carnival 2027, which Sokah2Soca covered alongside tracks by Jade Lopez and Orlando Octave.
